We have developed a large number of protocols that are targeted at obtaining metrics of fundamental mechanisms of information processing. Software has been designed optimally and modularly in order to provide maximum flexibility for parameterization of currently developed protocols as well as for developing new protocols.
What the person taking the test typically sees
What kinds of questions do subjects have to answer?
Although the tests have been designed to elucidate important information about the CNS, the questions that subjects answer are no more difficult than the types of questions that someone answers when they take an eye exam.
Typically, two stimuli are delivered to the finger tips and the subject is asked to answer simple questions such as these:
- Which one felt larger?
- Which one came first?
- Which one lasted longer?
- Which one felt faster?
- Which one is getting larger?
