New account registration page does not appear
Each Brain Gauge allows you to create one new ProTools account. If you are a new user, you will need to install the Brain Gauge USB drivers on your computer before setting up your account. This installation should happen automatically on macOS and Windows 8 (or later)* when you plug in the device for the first time, and the registration page should appear soon after.
If your computer is unable to detect the Brain Gauge after a minute or so, unplug the device and plug it back in securely. You can also try closing and restarting the app. If neither of these options work, please contact us at support@corticalmetrics.com.
*Windows 7 users will likely need to download device drivers before the registration page will appear. There are two options to do this:
1. If you have disabled Windows Updates, click on the Start menu and type services.msc into the search box. Hit Enter, and the Windows Services dialog will appear. Scroll down until you see Windows Updates. Right-click on the box and select Start.
